# Creator questions, answered

### What is a hello.fan page?
Your own page at hello.fan/yourname. Fans see your prices and call you by video, voice or chat while you're online, book a time when you're not, or leave a gift with a note. You keep up to 70% of everything they pay.

### How much does it cost to create one?
Nothing. There is no sign-up fee and no monthly fee. hello.fan keeps 40% of what fans pay; you keep 60% (70% while your linked store.fan shop is an active paid seller).

### How do I get paid?
Payouts go to your bank through Stripe. Each earning becomes withdrawable 14 days after it's earned, withdrawals start at $50, and you verify your ID once before the first payout.

### Do I have to be online all the time?
No. Go online when you're free, or set working hours and your status follows them. When you're offline, fans can book a session, ask you to open bookings, or send a 10-credit one-line hello.

### Can fans who speak another language call me?
Yes. Live translated subtitles in 30 languages show what each side says, translated, over the video; chat is translated too. Nothing is recorded.

### Are there beauty filters for calls?
Yes. Tap ✨ Effects in a video call: looks such as Beauty, Glow and Rosy, skin smoothing, soft light, face shaping, lip colour, blush and fun stickers like cat ears or a tiara. The other person sees you with the effect; nothing is recorded.

### Is there an app?
Yes — hello.fan for Android is on Google Play and rings your phone like a real call when a fan calls. The iPhone app is on its way; everything works in Safari meanwhile.
